Gears of war was ok, nothing special...Washington's Next was pretty good imo, but what I hear here, was beyond expectation! It's really fast, modern and heavy! :dio:

Yes, this track kicks a@@!! Much better than 'gears of war' which was good but....this is what I have been waiting to hear from Megadeth for a long time. Though TSHF was a big step in the right direction I hope UA will be even more so.

'Sleepwalker' is crushing and very intense. Using Andy Sneap was a wise move too! Can't stop listening to this one and I hope there are some more tracks on the new album like this one. Really reminds me of 'RIP' stuff a lot!

P.S. The track is also posted on Megadeth.com no e-mail required

This isn't the Second Coming (and whats so good about the second coming anyway? All us metalheads are just going to get burned alive. And in any case, he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy!) like everyone else seems to think it is, but its a pretty good tune. Still, TSHF has a few pretty good tunes on it, and still really sucked.

Dave Mustaine = :dio: :dio: :dio: :dio: :dio: :dio: :dio: :dio:

At first, I thought the beggining was too much like "Blackmail The Universe", but then the song got its own identity.... 8/10.

Washington is Next sounded so uninspired. Bland riffing etc. Then of course, Dave Mustaine thinks all he needs to do is throw in a slow thrashing alternating solo section in there at the end of the song and all of the old fans will be won back. Ugh, Sleepwalker is boring as hell also. Oh well, I can tell other people liked this, so, good for them. At least Dave's getting through to some people. If you're not going to get better, then what the fuck is the point. He said he's never going to release another Rust in Peace....then why would you continuously put out shit that pales in comparison. So much for aggregate quality.

Eyesore: thanks for the link!

it was nothing special, imo, but then again i'm not a big megadeth fan. i have Rust in Peace which has some killer songs but in the end only those really grab me, and i think "kick the chair" is also excellent. other than that i must've heard literally 2 songs, this one and that "crush'em" song. i found Megadeth a bit too slow for my liking.

can you suggest some Megadeth or am i looking for the wrong things in them?

listen to some stuff off peace sells, although the tites track will probably do nothing for you since it is one of the slower paced songs they have, but black friday or wake up dead would probably fit your pallete.

Great song. Especially after hearing the somewhat uninspiring Gears Of War.

I haven't actually heard Washington's Next yet. Link?

Yeah Crush 'em was just a shitty pop song. Listen to Rust in Peace and Peace Sells for all your speedy thrashly needs.
