Death with Dishonour is the first track released from the new album Hangmans Hymn.

Personally i like it - a lot!

Whoa. So if Gallows Gallery was them doing Power Metal, is this them doing thrash? Pretty good track, although initially rather disappointed after GG, doesn't have that wonderfully weird sound.

I honestly fucking loved it!!!!! Ive played it about 20 times today. This is my album of the year, if the album is all of this standard. i dont give a shit that its only february.

(although i may change my mind when the new dillinger comes out :lol: we will see)

Hmmph, moments of coolness but Sigh always sound so amateurish when they whack in those crappy parping keyboard sections.

That's what made GG great for me. They were playing a weird kind of Power Metal, with those throat-singing harmonies, and synths always sound great with that. I'm not sure how this will turn out, I'm not sure I really like it, but it's good to see them experimenting.

the keyboards sound cornier than on GG (which rules, btw), but the song was still quite good. i'm looking forward to it.

I usually dislike cheesy synths, but Sigh makes it sorta cool.

those keyboards are WAY too high in the mix. it sounds really silly to me.

Eww Sigh... I purposely haven't heard Sigh for a long time since I find their/his 'let's-try-everything-but-the-sink'-approach to experimental music irritating and pointless. I'll check out the sample none the less..

EDIT: As I suspected the keyboards were icky. It might have worked well without them, but I don't know..

I haven't found this band remotely interesting since Imaginary Sonicscape, and even then they were going too far. Hail Horror Hail was a good album though.
