Wow, did I write this post?

Sums up my own situation exactly.

My best friend is depressed so I'm kind of sad. :(

apparently over a year ago when i was first applying to college my aunt asked me why i didn't go to the Catholic university (private) and i joked that it was too expensive (when it was really because i simply didn't have the grades for it), and now, over a year later, my stepmum found out and won't leave me alone.

apparently my aunt wasn't using her brain at that moment so she concluded that my family sends my cousin to the USA (at, say, 50.000$ a year) but won't send me to a private uni here, and so i'm being mistreated. nevermind the 12 years i spent at a private school before college, my family hates me and favours me cousin.

i tried to explain that stupid people's opinions don't matter and we should let her blabber on, but now they won't get off my back about a joke i made IN AUGUST 2005!!!

in a totally unrelated subject, i'm having trouble sleeping again, the nerves are coming back because of the Statistics exam on monday. if i don't pass i'm screwed, i'm studying now but because of the theory section wether i pass or not is too unpredictable. if you don't score the minimum 2/6 in theory, you fail even if you get 14/14 in practise, and this screws over loads of people every year.

I'm feeling stressed and semi-drunk. After a long trip to the far east I had to start studying for my masters thesis, and at the same time I've been extremely busy at work, working on several projects at the same time because the only other person who has the same qualifications as me, suddenly quit for no apparent reason... Good thing I have my old friends: Beer and akvavit...

Thx man.. I went to China to be more precise.. Mostly Beijing and Shanghai with a few trips to the countryside. And it sucked big time! Worst trip ever. I would never recommend China to anyone. At least not the cities. The countryside had sort of a cool medieval charm to it, but my stays in the cities were absolutely horrible... Don't ever go there!

By the way. If you're having any problems with your statistics do PM me. It's one of my specialties

Due to a lot of subject-shopping between different faculties my education is a bit of an amalgam.. Analytical economics/empirical methods/applied statistics and mathematics (econometrics). It's not as dull as it sounds but almost

First exam is today. French.

Being a senior is silly. gr.11s and 12s have exams in the afternoon, biggest waste of a day. The 9s and 10s have their exam bright and early, then leave right after and have the rest of the day to themselves. I don't even get to sleep in! I have to catch the stupid bus.



Anyway, wish me luck

actually i like exams in the afternoon, since usually don't study in due time those last few hours are vital for last-minute cramming. it doesn't work for math and stastistics and the like (i like those in the morning so you don't have time to get nervous), but on cramming subjects it's always better to take them as late as possible.

Feel a bit like I've wasted the day... meant to get a lot of reading done for uni, but didn't. Mainly ate Kellogg's Crunchy Nut and sat gormlessly in front of the internet. Now I'm off to get pizza. Hopefully when I return I shall become more productive.

Oooh but just noticed Mark Steel is on Room 101 tonight so that is cool.

Why?

Not so very good.. I have a severe case of teh hangoverz... And when I went to my refrigerator this morning to grab a nice glass of apple juice, the juice was mixed with vodka. Not exactly what you need when you have a hangover.. Not when you're not expecting it at least.. One of my scumbag guests from last night must have left her disgusting mix when she left.. Worst way ever to start the day (since I downed the glass).. Good thing I had a cup of christraping black coffee to wash it down..
