I'd like to know if you know of any bands with singers that sound like Blaze Bayley. You know, sounding like themselves, maybe even to the degree that it becomes a bit embarrassing, but whether it does or not they dont care and aren't embarrassd. They are proud of their voice.

Blaze is also a singer whose songs you can identify with on a deeper level - if the singers also have this quality it'd be neat.

Three I can think of that sort of fits the description would be Peavy Wagner, Warrell Dane and Kai Hansen (to a certain degree).

Tough one, since most metal vocalists are either screechy, screamy or snarly. Blaze brings a certain purity back to metal, which is an excellent thing. I think the only other vocalists to fall into his raw style that I can think of would be Glenn Danzig, Henry Rollins, or very early (like 1970s) Alice Cooper.

Check out Danzig. If you like Blaze, chances are you'll love Danzig. Avoid the following albums, though; Blackacidevil, Satan's Child, Circle of Snakes. The rest are pure :dio: .
