Hmm, I'm curious how this one is going to be. Probably good.

A long wait. But will be well worth it. DeP is a band that in the beginning hated and now love.
Hopefully the new one will be as good as Miss Machine.

I've heard they're going to be more technical this time around, should be interesting how that turns out after they proved themselves very good melody writers on Miss Machine. I'm hoping for songs like "We Are The Storm" or "Baby's First Coffin" because I love when bands go from GNARRRRAWRRR to tralalala

My favorite tracks from Miss Machine are Highway Robbery and Set Fire To Sleeping Giants, but the rest are awesome too.

He does have to listen to it if you strap him to a chair, give him a bit of the Clockwork Orange treatment.

Anywho, I saw them open for somebody a few years ago. I can't remember which show, but I thought they were talented at least. It's not something I'd buy a CD of, but there is definately worse out there.

Me too.

One thing I've really started to appreciate for Dillinger after I stopped listening to them for about 6 months and then listening to a lot of bands in their style is that even though their stuff sounds just as chaotic and fucked as any of the others (except maybe Ion Dissonance...), once you listen to them more even songs like Panasonic Youth or all of Calculating Infinity kinda show structures that are well very well thought out. It really gave me a new appreciation for their music.

I have no idea if that made sense.

When I was still sane and true and so, I used to really dislike DEP.

Dammit, I hated them before, but I'm starting to dig them now.

I guess that's the way it goes for everyone. :dio:

I need to get an album of theirs. Maybe the one with Patton.
