I find them to be an insufferable racket personally. You eithier love them or hate them from what I can tell.

I just find them to very...interesting.

Whenever I listen to them I just feel intrigued at what seems to be going on aroud me. No strong emotion one way or the other is provoked, I just seem to get sort of hypnotized by it if I'm the right mood.

The only album I've heard is Nothing, and a few other songs here and there.

Great band. CC is more thrashy, for those of you who haven't heard it. And the True Human Design EP is excellent...

I love basically all the songs I've heard from them, but I dunno if I could stomach an album so instantly. I'll probably pick up Nothing soon and go on from there.

Once again, I'm late, but I am a pretty big fan of these guys. Pre-Nothing Meshuggah is really good, any era IMO. The hardcore fans say that the 1994 EP "None" is their pinnacle, though I have not come across it so I cannot say. DEI is a gem to me though, and Chaosphere is close behind. After "Nothing" they just became wayyyyy too slow and boring. Not sure why that happened.

All of the songs from None except Aztec Two Step are on the reissue of Contradictions. Pretty good, I wouldn't say they were the band's best.
