I actually like these guys and their cd's.I have been waiting for what seems like forever for this new release(I'm sure others have too).I hope the lack of a real orchestra doesn't lose some of the charm they have had in the past.Ah well,I'll still definitely get it! :dio:

And cool story, being the son of a pastor I can kinda relate.

 LOL!

Ill probably miss this. Dimmu Borgir are a bit to 'cartoonish' to take seriously imo.

The last one sucked ass so my expectations are not too high, but I'll check it out.

Enthrone Darkness Triumphant is pretty much the only Dimmu album I care for. Stormblåst is good too. I also own Death Cult Armageddon, but have only listened to it a couple of times since it's release.. not my thing really. I doubt I'll even listen to this one.

Stormblast kicked major ass!!! It was a good stepping stone for me to enter the dark realms of Blak Methul. :dio:

I enjoyed 'Enthoned..' more cos it was a little bit more melodic and had some kickass tunes. 'Misanthropic Euphoria' was to me the start of their decline. No offence, it was a good album, no doubt, but I feel Galder's inclusion has a part in their decline. They played a little thrashier and went quite heavy. And Shagrath's vocals have changed a bit, starting at 'Misanthropic..' I still prefer the old Shagrath's vox.

Anyway, In sorti Diaboli was it? Whatever. Can anyone translate for me please? ANd what's with all the black metal bands and non English titles anyway? Dark Funeral: Bla bla Aacternus, Rotting Christ:Sanctus Diovolus......etc

meh, i tell you!.. MEH!! I really had some high hopes for this band, but then they decides to release yet another album   Why can't they just stay away?!

anywho... what a crappy overproduced black metal video. If black metal bands absolutely have to make videos, why don't they try and make some "black metal music videos", instead of that old typical type of music videos showing the band playing their instruments trying to be cool. And black metal bands are not supposed to show the frontguy's face up close with wind going thru his hair as if he was trying to be sexy like a common popstar, damnit!

Furthermore.. there's something very familiar about the first few minutes of the song, but i can't figure out where i have heard it before  or perhaps i just had a daja vu while listening to it.. you know, brain error... didn't like the vox

The whole album was bad. The original was waaaaaaayyyy better. They managed to screw it up big time. And the video was very lame. Gay popstars. I still miss Immortal videos.
