Kiuas - The Spirit of Ukko
frickin good CD, shades of Sonata Arctica with a much heavier
Edge mixed with some other metal elements.

I'm definately reviewing this on my blog, I might post it on these forums if anyone cares enough.

Kamelot - The Fourth Legacy

Very good CD, but it isn't nearly as good as The Black Halo. I love Khan's voice!

That was their first album composed with the help of Kahn, Seige perilious was the first he sang on but he didn't help with anything else. So, with this fact in mind it's actually pretty good.
Their best album IMO though is EPICA.

I don't mind it musically, but I do find the vocalist ruins it for me. He almost sounds out of key in spots. It is certainly not an original release. For $10, I gave it a try. Sometimes you find suprises, sometimes you find coasters...

Well considering Metal CD's go for an average 25$ CAN + TAXES = 32$ CAN and I can get 5 CD's from the End for 56$ US = 63$ CAN
I suppose it's a big deal to me :D

Yeah I thought it was merely ok. Good in places. The vocalist's accent really is hilariously thick. Lack of originality is rarely an issue for me.

Got it for free with muh HMV gift card.

Did you have a choice of which of the two to buy?

If so you're a fool. :P

Nope, they only had the newest for 16.99, you know you have made it in canada when your album isnt 24.99 or 27.99.

I wish they would redo their first album, the songs on it are amazing, but the production bugs me, albums 2 and 3 sound perfect to me. 2 is their best album and 1 second best (song wise) and 3 is really good, but just more of the same.

I think it'd be really cool if they did more songs in the vain of Soldiers of The Wasteland, my fav song by them.

I think the songs are best on Valley, but the production does hamstring it a bit. Black Fire, Black Winter Night, Starfire, Disciples of Babylon....I don't think they've topped these songs.
