Misfits meets Darkthrone

Out comes Blackthrone. This is one of the most fun bands I've heard in a while. Punk-hardcore-black metal, about an equal dose of all of them. Party music with an evil vibe, who doesn't like that?

I don't, but that's no surprise. You made it sound cool, though! And "Vomito Negro" is an awesome song name. :lol:

I saw that page before. This is one of the things that is slowly driving me away from black metal. I hate people who can't take a joke, and sadly there are a lot of them there. This band is a joke, nothing more. It didn't belong to the bm underground in the first place, its standing two feet away and making fun of it.

Driving away from BM ? That's pretty quick

Some people, less than most, take their black metal, or metal seriously, what's wrong with that ? I dont really care about the entire 'anti-Blackthrone' thing though, some of those labels against Blackthrone themselves are quite dodgy anyways....

hmmm, dunno if i would work my ass of to find this shit, but if it came my way i'd certainly buy it.

Are u serious? Behexen, Horna, Baptism, Azaghal, Wyrd, Satanic Warmaster, Sargeist, Black Death Ritual, Moonsorrow... Some of the best black metal bands around.

Seriously I really like this. Even the vocals, which I hated when they first appeared, have grown on me in the space of one song.

It's hard to see the controversy... It's hardly the first time someone's done this type of mix. It actually reminds me a bit of the last Darkthrone album.

Negatory buddy. There are several good bands on that list. Not that it makes it more important (for anything besides illustrating the humorlessness of the black metal underground).
