On the basis of the first two tracks, this is seriously good! Deicide mit melody? :shock: Scratch that, Deicide mit melody and still being good? :shock: :shock:

This album is the best dm one of the year. Really. I didn't expect this from Deicide after all these years. Total pwnage.

I bet the Hoffmans are kicking themselves, eh?

The only Deicide I'd heard before this was the self-titled, and I really really like it. However, give me real, intricate melodic solos over Jeff Hanneman-style fret mangling/whammy bar wanking anyday.

Get legion also.

I've only just started listening to this. ive only heard the s/t, and I reckon Glen's vocals are much better on this IMO. and the melody is great too, as is the solo in the first track (thats all i'm up to).

overall, a fantastic album on first listen, hopefully it will get better on repeat listens. though i prefer the Bolt Thrower album i'm currently listening to (Those Once Loyal)

I've listened to it many times now and it's overall an ok album. I don't find it as brutal or intense as for example Cannibal Corpse but the solos are just awesome. I want more solos! Give me a whole album with just guitar, drum, piano, saxofone, and any other instrument solos!

I'm going to pick this one up soon. I've heard a surprising amount of positive opinions; it has intrigued me.
