Well, I just bought and listened to The Gathering. All I have to say is, "Wow!" This has to be one of the most amazing albums I have ever heard. Awesome drumming, excellent riffs, and Chuck's probably the one vocalist who really succeeds in having a bit of a gothic flair to his vocals.

For the record, I don't get why the band calls themselves "Testament" because their name certainly doesn't suit their music.

thats because they started out as a thrash band in the vein of vio-lence and other early thrash :twisted:
