listening to their music I can practically imagine a group of guys getting high, jamming on their instruments, and watching cheesy 80s fantasy/sci fi movies.

Lots of guys are into them that like pure trad metal, not so much my thing though. You should try Brocas Helm if you like them.

Now Noodles, that is very good band, unfortunately their albums are somewhat hard to come by, my favourite is Twilight Of The Idols.

yeah, they have way more variety than almost any other prog/power metal band I've heard. One bassline on Atavism even reminds me of Tool :D. I also like the singer/guitarists other band Hammers of Misfortune

Atavism is an awesome album. All the songs are so short though. I think it woud be cool if they had like a 10 minute epic. The lyrics are great and the singer sounds like he'd be a prefect fit for a doom band like Cathedral or something.

Yeah, also he sometimes reminds me of the singer from system of a down, and although i really like atavism i miss the Celtic Mythology themes from their previous albums, i mean how fucking awesome is the song Brave Connor Mac?.

I haven't heard any of their albums. Are they all as good as Atavism?

This band is awesome, The debut is my favorite. Harbinger actually opened for them and I'm pretty sure I got into a fight with their lead singer about why Praying Mantis was better than Sweet Savage.

For Praying Mantis the only album worth your time is "Time Tells no Lies" and they are way better than Sweet Savage.

Harbinger begins recording the Mini Album "It's Fucking Power Time!" on August 12th. So hopefully we'll have that out by the end of the month.

New Sauron EP "Satanic Assasins" is out, and crushing. October 2 they open for Destroyer 666 in Chicago.
