what does everyone think of them? personally i think that vol.3 is a great album, and if they can make songs like pulse of the maggots then they cant be as bad as everyone says. :twisted:

slipknot are the only so-called nu-metal i enjoy, and i only like vol.3 at that.
its surprisingly good-theyre willing to experiment-it has aan acoustic song! oh and theyres no swearing, pretty mature for nu-metal shit eh?

What I heard from Slipknot I never really cared for. Not even Volume 3. They aren't the worst band I'd ever heard, but they certainly aren't anywhere near the best.

BTW, Emokid, that is the best sig I have ever seen. The Looney Tunes = Totally Metal!!! :twisted:

Let's take a look at their discography.

Mate Feed Kill Repeat: No one cares.
Slipknot: FAAAARRR too rappy.
Iowa: The only good album. I like it becasue it's so brutal.
Vol. 3: Crap. Crap crap crap. All of their heavy appeal on their Iowa album has been stripped down to radio-friendly crap. If only I had a dime for every time I heard that "Duality" on the radio...

I wouldn't say I like Slipknot, but I do like Iowa, and that's about it.

I have never liked them, myself. Though, I heard the song "Vermillion" the other day and I have to say... I hate them so much more.

I've tried it.... well, some songs are just okay while the rest is absolute crap... I guess I would certainly love it if I was a musically uneducated teenager in 2005... which fortunately I'm not !

but I sure can understand why you like it except I know you won't soon... :roll: call it the benefit of years ! :twisted:

I didnt even watch the whole show from them cause i got fucking bored..

it's one of the okay songs I mentionned earlier... I thing It would eventually appeal to Pantera/Damage Plan fans... nothing to write home about though... :?

Slipknots new album is quit good actually... Some songs r pretty nice.. They juz got better.. This is the best album from them so far..
