I don't think Audioslave is shit but I do think it could have been better. A few boring tracks.

Their slow songs suck horribly. The faster ones are decent. I haven't listened to them in a while though.

hopefully they will get rid off the classic rock tendencies on this one and we will find back the true Chris Cornell : the one we enjoyed in Soundgarden...

RATM is still one of my favorite non metal band and also one of the best live band i ever saw. These guys had so much energy on stage and their live sound was incredible.Tom Morello is simply fantastic on the guitar and De La Rocha is "a man on fire"I only saw them once but i will always remember.

Some people don't like their lyrics because they are far left (socialist, anti capitalist) politically oriented but personally i never had any problems with that.I don't necessairly agree with everything in their message but i think that they make some very good points (and for the record , i'm no hardcore socialist).I like bands who not only make music for the sake of it but also want to send a strong message with it.Bands like RATM, Bad Religion and Lost Horizon are good exemple.

Oh and Audioslave suck
:)

They will never come close to the greatness that was RATM but we shouldn't compare them anyway.

Now , i's still hoping for a RATM reunion

De La Rocha is the worst vocalist for a band whose cds I ever bought. When I heard Cornell and the other guys were making Audioslave I was thrilled because Cornell is a much better singer, but Audioslave has really bored me.

De La Rocha is amazing, I am not surprised that black metal fan doesn't like him.

What ethnic background is De La Rocha from? If he's Native American then fair enough, but if he's Peurto Rican or Spanish like I think he is then we have a problem.

meaning that black metal fans don't have the best taste in music, to put it mildly.

De La Rocha sounds like a portuguese name to me...not that I care but I don't think he's native american though a guy I kinda share the political, social and economics values....

I'm a big supporter of Native American rights, culture etc. So if he is N/A then good to see him expressing his plight. However if he's latin american singing about his people's culture being repressed and targeted for racism, genocide, etc then he can take his hypocritical ass and fuck off.

Not that we define a person's beliefs on the basis of race around these parts or anything...

HAHA! This coming from someone that thinks De La Roche is "amazing".... whatever. I think it has been established that you don't know shit about Black metal... name six underground bands and describe their music, and then we can have a discussion on the matter; if you cannot name 6 bands of real Bm, then I suggest you refrain from speaking out of ignorance.

Winter is probably the person that just knows that Varg Vikersen killed Euronymous and is a so called "Nazi", but never actually listened to Burzum. Or any other Black Metal bands...
