i read about them in Terrorizer (Breaking Faces) and checked them out, and indeed they're not half-bad.

i'd describe them but i suck at that, so i'll just give you these links:

"Crowquill", off "as the roots undo" (the only album i've heard) is quite nice, available on the first two links. the "Non-Objective Portrait of Karma" at purevolume starts off like Metallica's Battery and Damage Inc. (i.e. gay) but gets better later.

so c'mon c'mon give then a shot!

Yeah i am also getting into this style it's nice. Another band you should check out if you like this is The Number Twelve Looks Like You.

I've been meaning to check these guys out for a while since my friend said they were similar to Envy, but haven't gotten around to it. After hearing the sample I definitely will now xD

hm... downloaded their album and it was pretty good although the vocals will definitely take some getting used too.

yeah, the guy's voice takes some time to get used to, but i like the girl's voice.

Wow I really like these guys now... I've really been loving the super-dirty/energetic but also intricate and thought out type music like these guys, Converge, The Mass, The Paper Chase or Eden Maine.
