Liv Kristine's forehead makes Christina Ricci's look under-developed. Liv is not nearly as hot and hasn't got the range to even touch Anneke, nor does she have the power that Scabbia has. With that said, she is a very good vocalist. I just got the autographed version of the Legend Land EP today.


Comparing Lacuna Coil to Beseech is stupid. Beseech are great, but they sound nothing alike.

I don't own Drama yet, I'm not spending $15.99 on an 8 track CD. Fuck that. I'll find it used someday. Sunless Days is excellent, though. Pretty bad? No way.

Drama isn't worth buying, it was a fuck up of sorts but Sunless Days is damn good.

They are in the same genre, and Lacuna Coil 'used" to play a form of Goth Metal/Rock before they turned to shit. Why can't I compare them?

Liv Kristine is twice the singer Scabbia is and she can swtich styles better too and when she wants to do pop shit she makes solo albums. 3AM is awesome.

Souls Highway is the best album of its type. LC should take lessons that you don't need to steal Korn Riffs and PL outakes from BIN to make an album

I don't think either have much range, but I feel Scabbia is a more powerful vocalist, while Kristine is more sweet and sultry. Both are very good, but Anneke smokes them both!

Bull-shit. Go to Theatre Of Tragedy's page, and watch the videos/listen to the samples of Kristine-era band. It's far poppier than recent Lacuna Coil. One of the videos could just as easily be a Shakira one, such is the volume of oiled-up torso in it.

Dude don't fuck with me on Theatre of Tragedy. I know Assyembly and Muzak were Electro Das Ich like music but at least they did it good and did their own thing, not recycled garbage from Ozzfest leftovers. The guitars are heavier on both of those albums, and Ronnie can totally out sing that moron in LC. I don't need to go to ToT page I own everything they ever did and everything Liv ever did as well. See this is where you sound like noob (or boob). Storm is a good come back album too that suprised the shit out of me. Nell is good on it and better then her shit with the Crest.

It isn't just me that thinks LC destroyed themselves, read other reviews, read the one at Digital Metal, that is exactly how I feel. I know you want to bang Scabbia but you can do that and admit their new album is crap.

Calm down, leeextrae. Damn. I don't know why you can't seem to accept that some people just aren't going to think the albums sucks. I like it, I think it's very good. Sure, there are some differences musically, but in the end it still sounds like Lacuna Coil and that's what sets them apart. You may hate their newer, more modern sound, but they sound like Lacuna Coil. There is enough of the older Lacuna Coil here to translate well into their new skin, unlike a band like Theatre Of Tragedy who on Assembly and Muzik sound absolutley nothing like their older self.

Don't start on me, either, I like both eras of Theatre Of Tragedy. I also like Liv's solo work and Leaves' Eyes. I already own the autographed version of Legend Land! Oooh, look at me, the uber-fan! Thhhhhhhhhhbt!!

What do you think of Storm? I totally dig it, Nell sounds awesome and they put the metal back into it a bit, sounds like a mix of Aegis and Assymbely to me and I totally dig it.

Hearing her sing like that makes me hate the new album even more.......I just dont get it.

I downloaded it, but I never listen to downloads much. It's a mental thing, it's not the same for me. When I pick up the CD I will give it a good listen. I do know that I think it was a step up from Assembly.

You did too, you said the voices and everything where the same, just that people heard one song with "Korn" influence and called the whole album that.

Storm is good I think. I def like it better then Assembly and the Crest album I have so seems like a good combination for both. It isn't as good as Vinland Saga or Lovelorn from Liv though.

What The Crest album do you have? I only have Letters From Fire and I think it's excellent. They have a newer album that I don't have, been meaning to find it somewhere.
