B.I.G. - Mo Money, Mo Problems

On a big rap kick lately... nice stuff I've been missing, there is.

B.I.G is nice stuff?!

You really need to check Dalek out.

NP: some early Mastodon. Nice, heavy, much more impact than their newer, proggy stuff, which is alright but gets boring. A song like "Shadows That Move" just doesn't get old.

Yes, yes he is. There's a reason he's legendary, and it's not because he was shot.

And Dalek is alright.

DangerDoom - Aqua Teen Hunger Force

That collaboration between Danger Mouse and MF Doom. Rather good.

Tupac is the one you can make that argument for (at least in terms of his seeming omnipresence), not B.I.G. B.I.G. was a legend when he was alive, it's just that his second album was the one that brought him fully into the mainstream.

Had he been alive to make a third album, things would have turned out differently.

That reminds me, I need to see that film with Tupac and Tim Roth...

@Caldogg - good band (for metalcore!)

I could have it on because I'm the only one here currently, but this computer won't play it without the right driver updates etc which I don't want to install. I think I shall just cruise some myspace pages perhaps.

I usually just find a band I like's myspace and just keep linking to their friends and hoping it's a music account.

Peccatum - Strangling From Within

I actually like Heidi's vocals on this, although every single review of early Peccatum I've read goes on about how bad they are. Sure, it's a bit of a screech, but it's so fucking weird. And it more than makes up for Ihsahn's King Diamond hard-on...
