hmmmm, given it a few spins, and its certainly good. Very good. But not great in a genre bending life changing perception of music altering kinda way, if you know what i mean.

Its certainly more than worth my money though. Im so glad i got this.

I don't think this is a sell-out album, but overall I think that it is pretty 'stale'. I mean; there is a lot of good ideas but somehow they never really gain momentum. There are a few passages that are really good, but the lack of atmosphere and power is disappointing. I'm not judging it like a black metal album, becuase that is not what I expected it to be (and not what it is either) but whatever it's called it needs some 'bite'.

A friend of mine bought this on Saturday, I'll need to check it out eventually.

If this had more " And he shall..." songs then it would be awesome. Now its just, mediocre.

Yes, so I have read. But remember this album is over a lot of heads. It is pure atmosphere, genius progressive music!
And reviews that say so.

So far I can't get into this album... I dig some bits but nothing more. I reall hope it will click overtime.

The only track I really enjoy on this is Homecoming, really.

Well, it is... Too catchy, little atmosphere, straight forward. But it's still better than most of the Emperor releases, I'll give you that.

That's my least favorite song on the album. Garm sounds weak on it and doesn't really fit into the album very well. I guess I just prefer Ihsahn's voice over his.
