Hvis Lyset Tar Oss is excellent, but I do love Filosofem despite the second half. It's a toss up between the two really, just depends on what suits me better at the time.

Burzum is still the band I consider the very very best in black metal, not really for his music, but for its consequence.

I almost agree. Without Burzum black metal would never have come to what it is, and we would have missed a lot of wonderful music.. But that is the case for other bands as well. Even though you will not admit it :wink:

Yes, like Darkthrone. But I don't like Darkthrone's influence in BM, neither Mayhem's.

Darkthrones influence stretches a lot further than just Satanic Warmaster and all the other generic clone bands.. Emotionally they are one of the pillars of almost all BM bands just like Burzum are..
