Good interview! So saying the album is going to be an hour long, does that mean they've already written most of the songs?

Im not a fan but that was a good interview. Felt like you got heaps of info, unlike some interviews where the band talks a lot but doesnt really SAY anything.

No, but seriously, mostly they're very good but a couple are too close to muchy pop stuff for my liking (its very obvious Tallulah was originally written as a pop song).

But it's true what they say, the songs he writes are the sad stories from everyday life so it's easier to get in touch with them than lyrics with raping bodies or slaying dragons... Well, to each their own of course.
I'd definitely want to hear more songs from Jani as well since My Selene is one of the best songs on Reckoning Night.

sonata arctica has been the few bands that never fail to impress me. excellent songwriting and arrangement skills. the first time i listened to "Don't say a word", i fell in love wit it. And i kinda got freked out when i actually went throught the lyrics.....how morbid and vengeful can one get? the essence of fear and vengeance potrayed in this one song is soo strong i frankly got disturbed with the song. but its always on my favs list.

hope they keep on writing good songs or even better. cheers.
