Have you ever thought abaout it? Most metal bands are so similar to "boy bands" , they even are just that without the: "" !!!!
They usually are boys - young men. And usually just boys, no girls! Not rarelly are their lyrics cheesier than those of backstreet boys' !!! Dragons, vikings, wizards, demons, etc. Not to mention POWER METAL with their over the top singing! And so on and so on...

Yeah, i guess you can look at it the other way around...boy bands are just like metal bands!!!

I dont agree. Most of these power metal bands age members are in their 30s or late 20s at earliest . I can hardly see the comparisons??

boy bands aren't really bands, they're more like a cappella groups.

But unlike many mainstream boybands some metal boybands are like totally deep. This song for example recites a statement of universal truth, and continues to elaborate on the same indisputable truth in a strictly philosophical framework...

You don't see that in your average boy band do you? huh... huh...
