I dunno, they might write something actually enjoyable. I listen to Transatlantic occasionally and I can't say the same for Dream Theater/Marillion/Spock's Beard/Flower Kings anymore. it'd still be clean-cut neo-prog that smells of disinfectant but it might be a very good example of an album where everyone sounds like they're enjoying what they're playing, I can get in to that, in between albums of actual artistic merit.

(this means I'm a Transatlantic fan but can't quite work out why.)

although if they're taking it in a metal direction then they're fucked. mike portnoy sucks at metal.
