He has roughly a shitload of albums, and I'm looking for one with the least stupid sampling interludes and the most amazing guitar playing

I think you'll find a mixed bag throughout every album. I'm not a big fan, but his recent songs with Serj from System Of A Down were cool.

BUCKETHEAD (feat. Serj Tankian) - WE ARE ONE (Video)

Sounds more like a SOAD song, though, not Buckethead. Cool video.

I'm listening to Jonas Hellborg & Buckethead - Octaves of somethingsomething, its pretty intense - amazing bass playing and Buckethead on an accoustic guitar (accoustic shred!)

He also plays on one of the jazz band Arcana's albums and it is FUCKING AMAZING. it made my hands start to sweat just becauseit was so insane...
