This thread is proof of the irrelevence of this forum, when all that can be talked about is Eminem and how boring bloody Coldplay is.

Well i guess people love to put down eminem (i hope) and also know that coldplay are boring.

Why is eminem even mentioned on this website anyway???

This forum isn't irrelevant. Some of the best music that is being released these days is hard to place in one of the established genres.

As for Coldplay and the Eminem thread I'm not going to bother spewing out some vitriol. That is way more attention than any of them deserve..

If you want to know the actual fact, I brought up Coldplay because I remember there being a thread where TIE was raving about them. Quite surprising, too, since they're such a mainstream band.

And Eminem I brought up after Eyesore (shamelessly) reviewed his album Encore and actually admitted to enjoying his music to boot. And then Radagast and Kathaarian made their respective comments: http://www.metalreviews.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5576

Whether or not these comments were intended to be sarcastic I do not know. It's sometimes hard to read sarcasm in a message board.
