Sounds great.

Can't wait for this release.

That about sums my thoughts up. This is my most anticipated release for 2006.

It's actually pretty good. He's sold out, whatever anyone says, though.

Wait, no it's not. More shitty high vocals. This'll take time...

Generally when someone sells out they simplify their sound. How does one sell out to prog which by definition has a very limited fanbase? Now if Ihsahn started acting like Dani Filth, that would be selling out.

There are different ways of selling out.

And people don't sell-out to prog, especially when they could have continued with one of the most sucessful black-metal bands of all time.

He's gone more commerical. He's made an albumful of songs, rather than make an album. There'll be singles.

Obviously, I'm not saying I dislike it because of that. I dislike it because I can't stand his helium-voiced clean vocals.

I'm not a fan of those vocals either. If this album flows like a singles collection like you say(I have yet to hear it) instead of an album than I will agree with you.

I've really gone off the guy, and I have no idea why. I love Emperor's first two albums, am enthusiastic about IX and like Prommy. I like Peccatum. This project of his seems wrong, for some reason...
