i'm not sold on the objectivity of "good" songs when the word catchy is so subjective.

personally I find top 40 bimbopop incredibly hard to focus on, so obviously I don't have a well musically-attuned mind. I'll go drown my sorrows by listening to non-catchy and by inferrence inferior music like, er, King Crimson or Esoteric.

oh wait that's fucking stupid. Eyesore? this is fucking stupid.

Agreed. It's getting a bit confusing, right? Hahaha. Maybe it's just me...

I couldn't agree more. Very poignant.

My prediction is that humanity will have been replaced by robotic cockroaches before this album ever sees the light of day. Hasn't he been working on this thing for like 8 years? I was excited when I heard Chris Vrenna was collaborating with Axl on it, but it seems even he is long gone now. I just don't think Axl's mentally stable enough to pull it off at this point.

 That's a good one.

So who is the Heavyweight Champ these days? Boxing is in such a sad state these days, I don't even know.

It's odd. I love Appetite For Destruction, but I haven't really had the incentive to check out any other GNR albums. Perhaps it's because a lot of people consider that their only real worthwhile album. Perhaps because I've outgrown 80s rock. I don't know. Either way, I'll definitely be interested in checking out the new GNR when it comes out.

Use Your Illusion I and II are both good albums with some great songs. They should have released one album with the best tracks from each and it would be considered one of the greatest albums of all time. The way it stands, there's just too much filler. Good filler, but filler nonetheless.

Lies is a good album, nothing amazing. The covers album is weak.

I agree but I'd sooner listen to Lies than either of the UYI's. Plus, I think "it would be considered one of the greatest albums of all time" is a little strong.
