Even I think Dark Funeral is kind of a joke, and I'm all kinds of untrue.

It's good to see Holy Terror's recquisite "metal sucks now" post though. I almost thought, just for a breif moment, that that sentiment was understood by most of us. Guess not!

I'm not kvlt, yet I have no difficulties labeling this album as stale melodeath with shrieky vocals.

I just heard this album, based on Zad's recommendation, and it is definitely not as bad as everybody is saying. I agree with what SOK said above, except I'll add that it is decent melodic death with shrieking vocals. 69/100

I heard a song from it... Not bad, but nothing I really want to go out and buy.

I personally think 70 is way too high for such a piece of crap, although I've not heard this album yet.

:? Then how can you say?

I've only heard this album once (by a friend) and it was as booooring as I expected.

The principles of stochastic mathematics my friend...

Arrgh.. I have a january exam in stochastic processes and I can't figure out how to apply it here...

Unless what you are saying is that your review scores is a series of random fluctuations... :D

We need a nerd thread...

No, it means that if a band produced a continuously declining stream of shit, that chances are rather large that they will go on with on their next album.

Is it just me, or the production on this album sucks mightily compared to the previous ones? Everything sounds so muffled and lifeless, particularly the vocals, which seem to have been recorded in a closet

I'm not into Dark Funeral, but I wanted to check them live somewhere in the area. But it came to the point where the concert was banned because of some ultra-radical, fanatic catholics :? :? :? The political situation in Poland is tragic, because the new government sympathises with the right-wing organizations and it leads to the limitations of people's rights and so on. Terrible situation :?

Ugh, that's awful. Us unfortunate Americans can sympathize a bit. Religion is a plague that will not let go of humanity untill it kills every last one of us. Kind of like one of those movies where they make the ultimate soldier, but then it ends up killing everyone and they can't stop it.

Apart from the fact that our rights are limited...I really wanted to see the band. I hope that Diamond will play in May. Last time he came (2001) some assholes wanted to forbid the show, because of something... :?
