Now, if they'd gone with Waldemar Sorchyta I would have shat myself. Either way, it's going to be very hard to come up with something worse than St. Anger. The good sign is that the band clearly know St. Anger sucked. They still defend it, but their actions and things they've individually said since it's release tell a different story.

Actually, yeah, that's exactly what I thought. Everyone makes mistakes.

Of course it'll be hard to make something worse than St. Anger... but that doesn't mean it'll be any good. At all.

I think it's the opposite. People go apeshit over him because he worked with Slayer but Slayer largely sounded like shit production-wise, especially the guitars. Same with SOAD, and that new Slipknot. The guitar sounds awful, the drums just sound dead, everything is muddy and weak.

But I guess some people love that dry lifeless sound.

That would be me - it fits Slayer perfectly.
