As I search through the Metal Review database the only review I can find as being quoted "Tribal" Metal is Sepultura's CD, Chaos A.D. I was wondering if any of you can request any sort of good Tribal metal CD's.

Request or suggest?

Try Overdose. They were like Sepultura clones.

Ektomorf also sound exactly like Sepultura. Destroy and Instinct are decent CDs if you like Chaos AD.

Pardon my ignorance, but it would appear that Overdose were around for the same amount of time. Check out their first releases:

Interesting. I first heard Overdose on the Progress Of Decadence album, and then Scars. That's all they had out as far as I knew, but damn...they have seven releases, at least, according to BNR, eight according to Metal Archives.

Some parts of Indukti's SUSAR have tribal influences, they're not huge but I hear them.

OK, what about Moonspell? Not completely tribal, but they have some elements there.

Also, check out RUDRA. They coined themselves Vedic Metal, they're death metal but they have some tribal elements.

Check out this band, too. They're called Manifest, I've only heard two songs from them on a compilation called Myx Metal Assault. This is one of those songs, it's badass!

MANIFEST - BUDAYA

Soulfly are decent tribal metal. Try their latest album call "Dark Ages" or possibly their first and second albums "Soulfly" and "Primative"

Neurosis also have some pretty cool tribal stuff going on, alongside being the heaviest band in existance.
