Okay, so I went to the shop yesterday and I found these albums. I can afford only two of them, but want them all. Which one would you get?

Hypocrisy-Virus (worth it for the DVD alone)
Deathspell Omega-Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice
1349-Hellfire (can't find an unbiased review of this. Any thoughts?)
Sargeist-Disciple of the Heinous Path
Sunn O)))-Black1

Hippo - not a fan.
DsO - Yeah! good stuff.
1349 - Pretty good, nothing revolutionary
Sargeist - Don't know of them, I'll research
Sunn O))) - Since this is an option, you're into them, great band.

I'd get the DsO (1) and the Sunn O))) (2) if that's all you can afford.

HaHa! I'm pretty much sold on the DsO. I just can't make up my mind on the other one. So, have you heard the new 1349? I have and like the first two, but haven't heard Hellfire. And the only reviews I can find eithier say "total shit" or the greatest thing ever made. No middle ground, sensible opinion to be found. :cry:

If you liked the first 2, the odds are you'll like this. I quite like it, nothing amazing though. I'd still go for Black One over it, though.

Yup, heard it. 1349 is the same shit dude. Fast, has good riffs but has no spirit. Sargeist is pretty much the same. I'd get 1349 anyway, since you liked the first 2. (I did too, for a while).

DEATHSPELL OMEGA OWNS the other albums listed by 10^10 times.

That DsO album is fucking amazing, worth it for 'Jvbilate Deo' alone!

Apart from that one, I'd probably have gone for the Hypocrisy album, but SunnO))) aren't a bad choice.
