I still need to check out The Bends. And I'm waiting for my friend to burn me Hail To The Thief. But anyway, anybody else a Radiohead fan?

And I still don't really consider them "prog rock."

I don't like Pablo Honey, but everything after is damn good!

I really like OK Computer, although I wish when they'd turned into an experimental band they'd kept at least some of their more rockish roots... I think that would have made KidA/Amnesiac better.

I was actually listening to OK Computer just this morning. That may very well be the most depressing rock album I have ever heard (and that's saying something). Especially The Tourist, Karma Police, and Exit Music.

On another note, am I the only person who found the acoustic riff in Paranoid Android to sound almost Spanish/Mexican influenced?

Good indie band that got too pretentious and boring.

They were probably my favourite band for a while. OK Computer cruises into my all time top 5 for its sheer infallibility and genius. Their earlier stuff is also awesome, even Pablo Honey.

Kid A is continuing to grow on me since buying it years ago at a rate comparable to continental drift. Idioteque is a really great song. I never bought anything after that because at that point I'd stopped listening to indie music so frequently and was spending my money on other things. But I still enjoyed whatever I heard from them. I remember really liking Pyramid Song...

So absolutely super massive HIT for me.

Pyramid Song is dreadful. Very over-rated band.

Shitty and boring band. What's with all the hype? All the cool kids are listening to them. Pfft. I'll have a Deicide please.

I was at the library the other day and saw that they had OK Computer, so I ripped to my computer. I haven't given it a thorough listen yet, but from the few songs I've heard it seems to be a mellow, experimental rock type thing...I think it'll be one of those CD's that's really good but I have to feel like listening to, or otherwise I'll just skip over it.

+1

And that's saying something because I usually like pretentious and boring. I'm a Tool fan for christ's sake.
