Any fans? I've got their first s/t, and was going to pick up the next, thought I'd better check to make sure it's not an awful mistake.

their first album is, indeed, awesome

I really like Pandemonium too and, btw, I saw them live on that very tour (94/95 or something) and they were great ! :D

Killing Joke FUCKING-A rule.

The next one you get should be Fire Dances, then Revelations, then get What's THIS For...! After that, Night Time is the last thing you should get from their 80's material.

For their 90's-00's material, get them in this order: Killing Joke (the s/t), Extremities Dirt and Various Repressed Emotions, Pandemonium, and finally Democracy.

The 80's and 90's stuff is rather different, so it's your choice where to go first. You can find the 90's stuff at most used CD outlets for real cheap, though.

Happy listening.

Never heard them, but I did miss out on their 2004 or 2005 concert in Manchester which was recorded.

Very good band.
Have S/T, Night Time, Brighter Than A Thousand Suns, Fire Dances, and Whats This For...
Love Like Blood is still one of my all-time favorite songs.

Their self-titled was released in 1980, if I am not mistaken.
The 80s-90s material is rather different, though, as you said.

Both their first album and the latest album were titled Killing Joke.

Thank you.
Now what is the sense in that, I ask?

To signify that their career has come full circle? They started out as a band of stupendous quality through the 80's, wavered a tad in the 90's, and are roaring back with a vengeance in the 00's.

Perhaps... though I suspect it was done solely in the cause of vexation.

That new DVD's said to be a goody. Glad to hear you're still alive (are you terminally ill or something?).

Just because I don't say I'm male, it doesn't mean to imply that I'm female, of course, that doesn't mean I'm a man :)

S'good to reminisce about when I first joined the forum, when everyone thought I was girl, for reasons unknown.
