Post subject:  Sebastian Bach Back In Skid Row?

Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach will be making "a mind-blowing, life-altering announcement" on Eddie Trunk's "Friday Night Rocks" radio show on New York's Q104.3 FM this Friday, October 28 beginning at 11:00 p.m. EST. Bach will be co-hosting the program and will be "cranking material from 'Frameshift 2: An Absence of Empathy' LIVE on the show and talking about the upcoming shows and CD," Bach writes on his web site.

He's either pregnant, gay, or is going to rejoin Skid Row. Anything else is not "mind-blowing" or "life-altering." The fucker better not be exaggerating!!

He can surely sing. That guy on the most recent album was not really that bad. It had a couple of good tracks, tho when i think of this band I tdo think of sebastain no doubt.
I saw them live last year and thought the new songs were kinda groovy. In a rock way..not a sludge stoner metal pantera type groovy..if you know what i mean? There is a big difference at least to me :)

Thickskin is a good album, but they're a completely different band now. "Ghost" could have easily been a number 1 hit everywhere if anyone would give an old 80's band a chance these days. They're heavy alt-rock now, not bad at all. I really liked Thickskin, but you can't play it alongside the other Skid Row albums. It's too sad! :D

Slave to the Grind is by far my Favorite. Tho the style change drastically album to album. When that thing was released it was a sick and madly powered rock album. Put much of the heavier shit to shame with its thundering riffs and vox. I think deep down Sebastian wanted to show metal heads he good do there style with ease and still maintain great ballads.
Except for that one album that almost bordered on poppy death metal?
Forgot which one that was?

from that timeframe i still play Slaughters- The Wild Life
Skid Rows- Slave to the Grind.

When will Kiefer give us new Cinderella material???
I would rather hear that than an axl rose release

You talking about Subhuman Race? I don't like that album much, there are some really good songs on it, but too many songs just came across as a bit unrealized.

From that time I still listen to everything! Hahaha. I absolutely love all of Slaughter's albums, even Revolution! Such an underrated album! Back To Reality, their last album, was damn good, too! I wish, like Cinderella, they'd record a new album and forget about this ridiculous "Rock Never Stops" annual tour, or whatever it's called this year.

Tom Keifer is supposedly releasing a solo album soon that's supposed to sound like Cinderella. Eric Brittingham and Jeff LaBar are doing their side-project thing with NAKED BEGGARS, their second CD will be out soon. Other than that it's just "shut up and wait." Unfortunately.

Their first s/t album was good but Slave To The Grind was their best because it was heavier and more serious then their s/t album.

And like Eyesore I didn't care for Subhuman Race much myself although it was much heavier then STTG it was still a bad album no good songs like Monkey Business or Wasted Time.

Bach is a great vocalist he's got damn good range I do hope he does go back to Skid Row and create something along the lines of STTG.

Totally agreed! Their latest material is simply weak compared to Slave to the grind. Well now that classic pozer/hard rock is making a comeback, I think the time is right for the pretty boy to come back. Oh, and totally irrelevant, but Wig Wam rule :D

Bach is such a waste of talent. What has he done, contributed to like three albums of original material in an almost 20 year career?

Saying that, I'd actually go see Skid Row if he was singing for them again.

He's done a lot more than that, man.

Post subject:  Baz not going back to Skid Row

Per melodicrock.com:

Quote:
Former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach's big announcement turned up to be little more than a bit of over indulgent self-promotion.
The news: Accept guitarist Wolf Hoffman has agreed to join Sebastian's solo band for a one-time-only appearance at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York on November 26. Regular axe slinger Mike Chlasciak, is unable to make the Poughkeepsie show.
Hardly a "mind-blowing, life-altering" announcement!

Sebastian Bach is, and always has been a tool. Seeing this is just par for the course.

I love Skid Row, especially the first two albums, both equally! <3

But I do agree that that "mind-blowing, life-altering announcement" thing was really deceiving
Though I did not believe he would be rejoining Skid Row...

I always thought the debut was largely 80's pop-metal filler, with a few exceptional tracks. Slave to the Grind and Subhuman Race are awesome though, and Bach is just phenomenal.
