i really love them. i saw them in the summer of last year on Rock Werchter, absu-fucking-lutely amazing!

imo, they're the modern Queen

it's a good band that keeps growing record after record thus Absolution is their finest to date ! I'm eagerly awaiting their new album !

Origin of Symmetry is definitley their best album.

nononono. Showbiz is an excellent album, but I think from then on it's downhill all the way. I think "plug in baby" must be one of the most irritating tracks of the last few years.

I didn't mind them around 2001. Now they piss me off, especially Bellamy's whiny voice.

They've never topped Muscle Museum, and their best songs are all on the first album (notable exception: Plug In Baby).

i love absolution and as its the only album i own/heard by them i cant compare is to others, they are way more mainstream than i normally like but they are good enough that it doesnt matter, anyone into bands like evanesance (dunno how to spell, dont really care either) or seether would like this imo

good question, seether has one good song (out of my way) and that is only cos it doesnt sound anything like their other songs, i heard it on the freddy vs jason soundtrack and made the mistake of buying their cd based on that one song, i was very disappointed...

Evanescence aren't that bad, I got their CD ages ago when I was just getting into metal. Don't listen to it much now, but there's far worse stuff out there (like Seether, isn't Amy Lee dating the lead singer or summat?).

meh, evanescence is in my opinion to goth/rocky to be enjoyable+ it's very overrated crap. If i want to listen to some gothic rock i listen to within temptation and some after forever, those are much better in my opinion

yes amy lee is dating the lead singer, i think they are engaged or something

Man... I was listening to "absolution"... or was it the one before that... :roll: in the car today and it only made me remember how much I think this band sucks after Showbiz.

This is a word I almost NEVER use to describe music, beause I think people who use it too often are ignorami, but this band is really pretentious.
