Sounds a hell of a lot better in High Def, but I still can't believe Rush of all bands is recorded shit in hotel rooms, on laptops and e-mailed what were likely MP3 tracks to the producer. It's got MP3 artifacts on it, for sure.
In other Rush news Presto, Roll The Bones, and everything from Moving Pictures to Hold Your Fire are 44.1 digital recordings, except for Signals (which was mixed digitally, so same thing).
So there will never be better copies than the CD versions in case you felt like buying the HD Tracks bundles. They are just padded with no harmonic info past 22Khz that was on the original albums. They might be better than 16-bits, but IMO that doesn't matter when the headroom is not extremely high, which is very atypical of music with any type of near constant distortion (that use amps).
