It's not as bad as some people make it out to be. It is not good but it not the worst album ever. I'd rather listen to that the 50 cent or some other rap/hip-hop shit.

I rank it as one of the worst metal albums of all time. Considering the band that it came from, I just can't NOT include it on that list!

St. Anger is way, way better if you listen to in sloooow motion..

When I voted 'Metallica sucks and this is no exception', I wasn't talking about the band from the 80s called Metallica because it doesn't exist anymore.

Not true. There are a lot of Metallica fanatics here, I believe. I myself, though I find them overrated, think their first three albums to be damn good (especially Ride the Lightning). Its no suprise, though, that people find the new stuff, especially the abortion known as St. Anger, to be shit.

52% of people voted "Metallica sucks and this is no exception" - that suggests to me that most dont like them at all, i agree with you that their early stuff was killer though, ive still got the black album on vinyl and as soon as i get a record player im gonna play the vinyl non-stop til im sick of it

I used to like them, until I heard the rest of the Thrash bands from that era, and I found out that they where far from the most talented band in the genre. Lar$'s drumming has always sucked, and Over Kill can shit better riffs.

Metallica is a good thrash band, but definately overrated
