...is out in Europe today.

Should be fascinating seeing how this album turns out (the live song I heard a while back certainly sounded pretty good). Even the title is kind of interesting, since Brian May is (I believe) a professional astronomer. He's also now a university chancellor.

This album is pretty good, but sounds nothing like Queen. Brian May is still a master, and Paul Rodgers is one of the most beautiful voices in rock, ever.

I've been reading some pretty negative reviews for the album so far. Of course, critics didn't like Queen in the 70's or 80's, so the fact that they still don't like Queen today shouldn't be too surprising.

There is nothing "rocking" about it, all songs are boring and strange pop songs that are not even leaning to rock. Actually there is one great track and that is the title track itself which sounds something like a modernised 60's rock'n'roll tune in vein of Barbara Ann or Blue Suede Shoes, the charity single Say it's not true is also a decent rock ballad. The arrangement, production and musicanship is topnotch, but after listening through it a few times the only songs that stuck in my brain were Cosmos Rocking, Say it's not true and C-lebirty where the last one is just rather annoying. I don't know why they did not include "The Call" on this album, since it would easily been the best track on the whole album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0j-fkKB9jg

Cool song. Sounds like it came out of Innuendo.
