So I was introduced to Aerosmith in the early 90s, where they had 60 power ballads in MTV (stuff like Cryin, Crazy, Dont Want to Miss a Thing, Jaded, etc)... so I didnt care that much about them, even if "Cryin" is a good song. But things changed when I got Guitar Hero 2 and 3, and both of them have really great Aerosmith songs. GH2 has Last Child, which is fckin great, and GH3 has Same old song and dance, which is great too. Both songs are from the 70s ... So, any recommendations regarding 70s Aerosmith, something to get me started? |

I prefer their 70's stuff more than their 80'/90's. I agree with the above but you also have to check out Draw The Line, Night In The Ruts and the first album. As far as later stuff, Rock In A Hard Place was ok, Done With Mirrors was a good comeback album and Nine Lives was really good! |

they went through the same ballad phase every rock band seems to go through. either way, their earlier stuff is definitely the best. some of it bleeds the blues. |

Rocks is my personal favorite. But I also highly recommend Toys In The Attic. |
