Never been much of a fan of hard rock. I can make an exception for Rush, they had two great albums in the 80s..

Def Leppard
Poison
A few Queen albums
A few Rush albums
Some Boston, Journey, and Foreigner
Van Halen
Styx (HELL YEAH!!)

I usually listen to these bands at bars and pool halls b/c their music selection sucks. Although these bands rock, I'd prefer to hear some power metal or thrash at a bar.

Not such a fan of those ones, I prefer the progressive feel of their previous work, I go nuts for prog :D

WASP, Shok Paris, Lizzy Borden, Motley Crue etcetc are rock?!? Damn, I should be getting my ears checked...

Anyway, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Hardline, Motley Crue, some Ac/Dc, Tobruk, Alice Cooper (Poison era) and a few good others are always amongst my playlist 8)

I don't really listen to any 80s rock anymore. And the 80s bands I DID listen to were also kicking in the 70s. Some examples would be Billy Joel, the aforementioned Queen, Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne (yes, he does qualify as 80s rock in my book) and plenty others.

Two 80s rock songs I could never stand are Mickey by Toni Basil and We Got The Beat by The Go-Gos.

I listen to it all still. If I liked it then, I like it now. It's got a slight edge over metal on my favorite style of music list!
