Wow! After Scald, another great band playing Sludge/Drone Doom. Comparing with Irish guys, here French guys play less technicaly, more atmospherically. We've got here a mix of Doom, Sludge, Drone, Ambient...it can be easily called Atmospheric Postcore even. I'm not into such kind of music generally, but as far as I can see Doom Metal is gaining strength nowadays, and bands like Scald or Year Of No Light seem to be exploring the genre which is very probable to be the next incarnation of Metal in general. We had a power metal wave in the lat 90's, we had a thrash renaissance in few last years, a now DOOM is here. Well, even new Celtic Frost is Doom influenced!
