Rather good sludge, on Relapse (yeah, I've been trawling! :roll: ).

Probably so. This has given me the nice fresh taste like the time I first heard Mastodon. The other songs are good too. I think I'll look for an album to download.

ah.. you might want to check out Grief then.

thumbs down on this, I want them to hold notes for longer, add more bass and play less sloppily, aargh. I do enjoy their energy though.

It's the energy that does it for me here. And thanks for the reccomendation, I'll look them up...

Edit: annoyingly, Grief's (the American one, I assume) home page is blocked, due to "adult/mature content". Any samples elsewhere, the one at the record label doesn't work....

uh, maybe on doom-metal.com. also check out Thee Plague of Gentlemen, they're pretty good sludge too. and belgians or some other strange species, haha.
