Here's the new track, it's fucking awesome! Can't wait to hear the studio version on Alone.

Solitude Aeturnus - Sightless (Full Demo)

Here are the previously released demos and demo clips released on-line previously:

Solitude Aeturnus - Sightless (Demo Clip)
Solitude Aeturnus - Scent Of Death (Demo Clip)
http://w1.611.telia.com/%7Eu61112321/Fi ... ht%20(Demo).wma (copy and past link with (Demo).wma included for Solitude Aeturnus - Waiting For The Light (Demo), the (Full Demo) part messes up the BB Code)

And this clip is from Robert Lowe's side-project called Concept Of God, not traditional doom, but damn good whatever style you want to call it! Hopefully it gets released soon.

Concept Of God - Past Perfect (Full Demo)

Sightless sounds good, but then again, it also seems to be constructed like a nu-metal song. I hope they give the final version more low end.

Concept of God is more interesting; I liked the use of cowbell in that track, and it sounds like a good sludge song trying to happen. Again, the guitar tone is too light making it sound a little too heavy metal and not quite doomy enough.. and that solo should really have been played backwards.

just my thoughts. I'm definetly awaiting the new album.

Good stuff Eyesore. Actually, I thought the Scent of Death demo clip sounded like a better song than Sightless. Sightless was pretty good though, just a little different than I'm used to. Concept of God was pretty good too, a good showcase for Lowe's kickass vocals.

When does the new SA album come out?

That is pretty good, like power-doom. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Dude, seriously, how can anyone take you seriously? Constructed like a nu-metal song? What the fuck does that mean?

Well, it's a demo, so it's definitely not as beefed up as the final product will be. I really don't know if this band is going for the doom sound, though. This is the only track I've heard by them.

The new album will presumably come out in early 2006, I know they were shooting for late 2005, but they've apparently just gotten into the studio. It's coming, though, Travis Smith is working on the artwork as we speak. I cannot wait!

They've already stated that this album has a bit more traditional metal than typical SA albums, which you can hear in "Sightless" and "Waiting For The Light," but at the same time you can also hear that once that guitar tone is beefed up and the bass is cranked that those are going to be crushing tunes!! I'm assuming it'll be a bit different like Downfall was (hopefully with better production).

Ah, come on, you know what I mean. The structure was basic pop and the riff was pseudo-heavy, and then the chorus came in and did that down-up-down thing, you know, Cmaj7 to Em or wherever it started. it's lazy songwriting so I only hope they made it a little more complex..

..that was a crazy over-reaction, you know..

Well, I was thinking you were calling it nu-metal, or something similar. You still make no sense to me, though. :D What is psuedo-heavy? I mean, I don't understand that. It's either heavy or it's not. Black and white. How can something be "fake heavy?" It's a great song, who cares what kind of structure it has?
