Tomb of the ancient king is probably one of the most agonizingly long albums I've ever heard. For those who've heard the band what are your thoughts of the band, heavy and murky funeral doom or pretentiously trying elevator music?

He just showed me this band--they are excellent.

He prefers the demo, which is much rawer.

Have you heard Tyranny? Basically the funeral doom side-project of these guys.

Nah man, I actually just got around to listening to these guys, and it was one hell of a different experience. They're a very exhausting band and they are a challenge to listen too, which is why I've been hooked on them for the past week or so.. I have yet to hear their demo however, if its heavier and more claustrophobic sounding, I think I may need to purchase a new brain

haha... yeah, Wormphlegm isn't easy listening, and you need to be in the right mood for it.
In An Excruciating Way... is their better album, IMO.
