I've always wanted to check this band out, after hearing some shit on a mix my bro put together.
Any recommendations?

All.

Seriously. Every album rules. Just don't start with Downfall. They got fucked over with the mix on that one; it's pretty shitty. But it's still a great album, and after you get used to the mix, it'll be fine.

But yeah, every album is excellent.

I'm giving the album 'Alone' a listen right now and I must say that this is some very impressive schtuff! Is this the current Candlemass vocalist?

Yeah, Robert Lowe is the man.

Great, great band with a very strong catalogue. Even though Ken is a SA fanboy, his recommendation here is sound.

I 'legally' downloaded Adagio, Alone, and Through The Darkest Hour last night. It all seems to be great material. Thanks again for good suggestions guys

Not many bands for whom "any album" can be a recommendation. I have to check out this band. I've been shamelessly delaying it.

And if you want more of Robert Lowe:

http://www.myspace.com/lastchap
http://www.myspace.com/conceptofgod

Lowe did guest vocals on Last Chapter's demo and debut full-length. The second—and sadly last—album had another dude, but he was great. Solid albums. And Brainticket recently reissued the debut with the demo and a Metallica cover ("Escape") as bonus tracks.

Concept of God is a side-project that started many years ago and finally got released last year or so. More metal than doom, but killer.

$3.99 for the Concept of God CD. That's ridiculous. BUY IT!
