I'd say Our Truth was more than a match for Heaven's A Lie! Although I agree, I heard another song from it and it was rather dull, so I come somewhere inbetween you two (in my opinion of Karmacode, eat a sock Craig!!!!111 :P ).

Excellent album. This cd is going to get alot of air time. I agree with Ken here, this album, Comalies and the EP are their best work. And yes I have Unleashed Memories and In a Reverie and yes I have been a fan of Lacuna for awhile now.

Goddamn the debut EP is good. Reminds me of the first Nightingale cd alot actually.

Is that the self-titled? I heard a song from that the other day and was blown away, awesome stuff.

Yea the debut EP is the self titled one.

Really if you hear the rest of it and like it alot I highly recommend Nightingale's first cd "The Breathing Shadow" The only difference really is that A. Lacunas a full band (The first two Nightingales are completely Dan Swano and a drum machine) and B. the obvious female vox. Other than that the melodies, guitar lines and overall feel are quite similar.

Only the first Nightingale is Dan and a drum machine. The Closing Chronicles is him and Dag (his brother, Tom), all real instruments. I don't know if I agree with this comparison, though. I don't hear any Nightingale in the first Lacuna Coil EP. I do, however, completely agree with the recommendation. Nightingale rule!

Really? Listen to Nightfall Overture on Breathing Shadow and then No Need To Explain from Lacuna's EP...

I dunno I guess for me they seem really similar.

Btw whoever caught them on this tour, what was that intro theme music that they played before they hit the stage? I swear I've heard it a million times but I cant for the life of me remember what its called.

Well, I'll give them a listen back-to-back and see what I come up with!

of course, being so hot she steals the spotlight... kinda irritating, isn't it? but uh... do she and the other singer have a relationship?

No. She dated the bassist for 10 years, but the they broke up a few years back. She's now dating Root, the guitarist from Slipknot/Stone Sour.

WTF? I mean, being called Root should be enough to put anyone off... unless of course she likes root beer, in which case it's understandable... but Slipknot???? She should know better, and has now moved down a couple of notches in my book.

That about sums up my thoughts on this album. It's not bad, it's just there, sitting motionlessly, wondering where this band's creativity has gone.

She can shag who she wants, as far as I'm concerned. Just a pity they'll never release anything as good as "Unleashed Memories" again.

Root is his surname.

Yet another reason to completey disregard this band lol. I can believe you fools like this Karmakode crap but ok.... I seriously would give it a 2/10 and only two points for the DM cover. Anyways, to each their own but this is a bad, bad album that took 4 years to make.

I am glad they made some money but shit, they could have at least still made Music that got them there. If you can not see that the EP and even Unleashed Memories are a million miles from this you have to be def. Hell just the chorus remotely sound like LC and Ferro's voice is freaking horrid on this. That guy who sang cleans for Darzamat and that other idiot on Crematory's ACT 7 are both better then Ferro and that is saying a lot.

I agree on Nightingale except for the last album which is pretty much AOR/REO Speedwagon crap.

Sheeeyit is she hot!!!!! guess y'all wanna come to italy, huh?

I lived in Italy for 6 months and I must admit that there are some damn fine women there, but looking at the older generation I'm thinking they all shrink, acquire a hunchback and turn into sidewalk sweepers. They don't seem to age well.

Ahm, racist?

Fuck YOU!! Don't fucking call me that again, you douchebag! You need to educate your ignorant ass on what the term "racist" means before you starting pointing that finger at me.

Image

Eat shit.

Calm down you fucking idiot I wasn't serious.

Then you say "you guys hate me anyway" Take your head outta your ass for once.

Sorry, dude. Anyone even remotely implying I am racist pisses me right the fuck off. And explain to me how the hell I'm supposed to know you're joking??? How many times have I listened to people here tell me I need to use smileys? I'm sure you were one of them. Maybe you should take some of that advice to heart before "joking" about something like that again?

I WILL be a complete asshole if someone uses that word in conjunction with my name! Now take your head out of YOUR ass. This is your doing, bud.

Look, if you're talking about hot Italian chicks and somebody calls you racist there's a high chance they might be joking. And if I am saying something that sounds serious then its %100 that I'm joking because this is the internet. (see pic: above)

Relax a little bit dude, you're getting into flamewars daily, I'm beginning to think you enjoy them.

lol, maybe Ken just needs to screw a hunchback racists Italian chick in her 30's and he will feel better?

Thanks for the laughs guys and yeah, Karmcode reeks and Liv Kristine out sexes her easy voice or otherwise. The chick from Beholder (even though they suck almost as bad as this new LC album) is hotter too, Skylark has a hot blonde chick in the band too.
