wow, my first doom album. this is pretty damn cool!

I'm glad you like it! If you tell me what it is in particular you like about it, I'd be more than happy to recommend you some more dooooom.

NP: Orange Goblin - The Big Black

Fantastic stoner rock/doom!

I like how it has a rockier feel to it (like Midnight Mountain). I also enjoy the slower parts. Is there any more doom that has these elements to it?

I would say that you'll like the traditional style then, which is somewhat Sabbath-esque. For those that enjoy this style, I always recommend the following:

Candlemass
St. Vitus
Trouble
Count Raven
Sleep
Reverend Bizarre

Start there, I tried to list those that would be fairly easy to track down. Let me know if you need any help.

I love that album. I'm such a fag but I do. It might have to do with my friend killing himself listening to it but it still makes me feel sad and fucked up. When I want to feel that way.

Yeah really. It is the kind of album that you would think someone could kill himself listening to isn't it?

np: Boris - Akuma no Uta

You like the album bro? That one and Tiamat's Deeper kind of Slumber have the same vibe but try as I can I cna just never "get" it. I always thought Anathema fleshed that sound out better on Alternative IV

If you do way dig Eternity, check out "Stormbirds" from Evereve you won't be dissapoint.
