On an emo related note, my biggest issue with it is that it makes me feel like I'm not allowed to be unhappy without feeling like an emo kid. My personal life is not the happiest at the moment, and just talking about it makes feel like an emo faggot.
Relax... IMO, emos are despised for their unjustified self-pity... They are kids that have normal lives in upper-middle-class homes, yet declare themselves the children of sorrows, procrastinating their self-pity to the entire fucking civilization... Yet mostly they don't know any sorrows other than the feeble ones they weave themselves, made from their insecurities, their love for someone which is not returned, confusions and the ever-so-present hopes of gaining acceptance.
That doesn't mean that all sorrows are of that particular nature. There are many sorrows in the world, enough to go around for everyone. Ask the ones crawling in the gutters... They don't even bother putting on the sad face anymore. Sorrows ASSIMILATED! No way back from that...
