Wolfheart is still the top of my list. Nothing beats it. After Wolfheart, Rubeiro changed his vocal style which didnt please me.

Plus, Wolfheart is by far the most creative album Moonspell's put forth. And frankly, I think Wolfheart is the best debut album from a band. I've never heard any band come up with an album that was so explosive, all their tracks! That's probably a reason why I don't like the other Moonspell stuff. Wolfheart sorta became my benchmark.

I won't argue with anyone that Wolfheart is a killer album, but I definitely love their later work. It is different from Wolfheart, so if that's what made you fall in love with them I can see why you'd want that sound again. I first heard them on the Century Media Identity compilations, but at that point Irreligious was already out and Sin/Pecado and the Second Skin EP was about to come out so I had three very distinct albums and an EP to dig into. I had no expectations, you know?

Have you heard the new one?

Not a big fan of Wolfheart and the new one I don't like at all and I really tried......boring. Give me everything from Irreligious to Antidote and I am happy though.

In fact Memorial might be my dissapointment of the year because I expect the new LC to be the pile of shit it is.

No, haven't heard that, is it as far off of what Moonspell are today as the Treblinka stuff from Edlund (Tiamat) is.

Let's see, Under The Moonspell is like a Middle Eastern symphonic gothic black metal album. It is like nothing they've done before.

Yeah, Memorial. It's ok. Decent album. Far better than their previous releases. At least it's something I could listen to for a while. I get tired of an album after a few replays. Somehow Wolfheart didn't sicken me until te 10th replay. Memorial deserves a thumbs up, certainly. But I didn't say it was their best.

Speaking of 'Under the Moonspell'. It was great. I enjoyed that as well.
