This is spam surely? Hes asking if we know more, hence guiding us to look up the band on the net and hopefully buy their albums or something. Like, "did the band issue a statement?" is trying to manipulate us to look for such a statement, and get into these guys.

Hmm, I remain unconvinced. Certainly, I don't jump into your posts with snotty remarks because I hold any kind of grudge (or because I've set myself up on a comfortable little mini-campaign), I hope you didn't get that impression.
