Heard a song from the new album recently, and I'm quite impressed, although I think it's more folk than prog. Have to investigate further, where'd the links go?

Edit: Leaves Scar was the track I heard. Here's their myspace, if anyone's interested...

I took the links down, I use a friends FTP space, so I don't leave links up for long. He doesn't have a ton of bandwidth to spare.

The CD is excellent.

Have you heard the new album? Man, it's goooooood! Not a return to form, but a perfect blending of the two Amorphis eras (not including the early death metal demo stuff).

After one listen, this is way too generic. It's just a pop album with some heaviness. Nickelback with a bit more metal, and better. This may change after a few listens though...

Yeah. No shit. It sounds like Amorphis, they haven't changed musically. I've already said before that the singer sounds a bit like Chad Kroeger on "Under A Soil And Black Stone." Whatever, though. What a non-sense-making song title that is, though.
